This is such a great idea for putting crochet flowers together. I found this on Etsy. It makes me think of the bone china posies I collect. These aren’t nearly so breakable and easy to chip!

The Flower Tree sounds like it should be the name of one of those soap and beauty shops like Soapberry, a long gone Canadian chain which once competed with The Body Shop. But, this flower tree is a brooch I noticed on Glamour Kitten.
Do you like to get scented soaps and shampoos from places like The Body Shop? I have a lemon body soap for the shower which is really nice. I used to have one which was peach but they stopped making it. My other favourite is pink grapefruit. I bought an orange and ginger shampoo and conditioner from Bath and Body Works recently. I love quality soap (the stuff from the drug store seems to irritate my skin) with a great smell to it. I like natural fruit smells best it seems. Too much floral just seems like a lot of perfume.
I posted about these brooches made into bouquets for weddings on my other blog. I found them being called brooch bouquets, this one was called a blooming brooch. But, really why should they just be for weddings? They are gorgeous and would be a nice project, something to do with a brooch collection if you have several you don’t wear very often. It’s not something you would wear, the shape is too bulky, but it would be a lovely way to display all your brooches and add a lot of sparkle to the room. What a great centrepiece on the table. Rather than having your brooches tucked away in a jewelry box they could be a showpiece for you every day.

You may feel like the Ice Queen inside when you go through a divorce. It may be how you hold yourself together and pull yourself through the whole thing. It’s not a bad thing to be the Ice Queen. Wear it with pride!
Later, when you begin to thaw out and become yourself again, you can still be the Ice Queen, a bit mysterious and unreachable. A bit aloof and above the crowd. Feeling special is a good thing.
Kate Spade has an Ice Queen set: brooch, ring and a necklace on a thick silver chain. This one above is called the bib necklace, it’s my favourite in the set.
