We drove out to Huntsville, through Gravenhurst, Bracebridge and then Huntsville itself. Along the way we had breakfast in a local restaurant in Gravenhurst. I took this photo of an old building which used to have another place beside it. I like these old hidden walls. Or, walls that were intended to be hidden. You can see the marks of what was once there.

I like all the pinecones. They were all over.
This house was somewhere between Barrie and Angus. I’m not sure which road. We got a bit turned around as we were driving from Alliston to Barrie. A different road I’d have to work on finding again.

This house would have been one of those houses you can’t really see behind a tall hedge of thick pine trees. It had a ‘Private” sign in the front, along with the rabbits for sale. This house will be gone soon, all it’s pine trees have been taken down. It must have had a fire inside – I could see the scorch marks on an upstairs window. It is certainly not being lived in. Kind of like an abandoned bee hive.
