Happy Birthday to Zack!



Although the cake is super cool, I have to admit I didn’t make it. Just found the picture for Zack online. He liked it too. I gave him a pirate birthday present(s) this year. He wasn’t hugely impressed with my lime soap and ‘pirate’ scrub brush for his shower. But, it’s getting harder to get something for kid’s birthdays. They already have so much stuff there isn’t enough storage for it all in the house. He really doesn’t need more toys. I get him books and clothes all year long so those aren’t special for a birthday. I thought the soap was good cause he really did need more. 🙂

I don’t have a picture of all of us, nothing lately anyway. This photo is my Mom, brother and myself. A long time ago. Dad likely was taking the picture. This is the second birthday he’s missed. He died just before Father’s Day, last year. We never got along, so don’t feel all syrupy about this post. I just felt like doing it.

December 19th

It’s odd to meet someone with your same birthday, once. How odd is it if it happens twice? Eric, my last date/ boyfriend (?) was the same date, just 12 years older. Today I found that a new guy I’ve just started getting to know also has the same date just a few years younger. Kind of funny in a weird/ strange way.
