Creative Fat Grrl was a name I invented for myself when I wrote a web column for Lockergnome. I was looking for something that felt like me, not one of the bright, trendy and excitable young people who create energetic YouTube video posts on the side. It was something I could live up to without feeling left out. I kept it going for a couple of years. The name still works for creative arts sort of posts. Most of the posts in this category will be written for that column or others.

I created this years ago for a newsletter I wrote, InkSplatters. That was long ago when Yahoo had a feature for putting out your own newsletters and it was really good then. Now it’s Yahoo Groups and just a wasteland.

When I think about being really alone, enjoying the quiet, this is the scene I see in my mind. Not so concerned with being private really, just the quiet and the lack of company. Who hasn’t thought about living on their own private island out in the middle of nowhere, for at least a while.

Posting for the A to Z Challenge.
I started the A – Z Challenge thinking this would be my inspiration or motivation to make more new ASCII art. But, it hasn’t worked out that way at all. I’m hoping to make a big push on reading other sites involved in the challenge this weekend. I don’t celebrate Easter so I’ve got all this time to do as I please. Of course, I have a massive to-do list hanging around, looking over my shoulder.
