Think of insects as more than creepy crawlers. They each have their function for the cycle of life on the planet. Insects matter. From honeybees to the common fly, they all have a part. This post focuses on insects as bird food. But, that seems less important, unless you are a devoted birdwatcher. Insects are important in pollinating plants, spreading seeds and being plant food too.
