Quite awhile ago, Anita posted in her iGoddess blog, about the most beautiful words for women.
I recently came across a list of the most beautiful words in English. I eagerly devoured the list but was disappointed that not many of them matched my expectation of “beautiful” ~ a beautiful word, to my thinking, is one that rolls across my tongue, makes me feel good, and adds a touch of magic to my mood and my day.
So, I thought I’d start my own list of the most beautiful words in English, but for women! I invite your participation… simply comment with your favourite word, why you think it’s beautiful, how it makes you feel and perhaps an associated memory…
I’ll start with the word Voluptuous… Adjective. Definition: sensuously pleasing or delightful. I like it because its syllables imply the shape of a voluptuous, curvy woman. It promises sensual pleasures, not just of the flesh but also in her attitude to living life with fully fledged indulgence.
What word comes to your mind first? Post it to your own blog or on Twitter, somewhere it can be found. Refer back to Anita’s post and leave your word in her comments. I know the blog is not active. But, when she does check back it will be a nice surprise to have some words to read, literally in this case.
The word I pick is: vibrant.
