Makes Me Want to Say the F Word

Blogger Help: “Why do I have word verification on my posting form?

Word verification on the posting form is meant to be a spam reduction mechanism for BlogSpot in general, and is applied to certain potential spam blogs by an automated system. Because this is automated there will necessarily be some false positives, though we’re continually working on improving our algorithms to avoid these. If your blog is one of the false positives, we apologize. Having the word verification on your posting form does not prevent you from publishing and does not mean that your blog will be deleted or otherwise punished if it is not actually in violation of our policies.

So I’m a potential spam blog?!!!!

Each time I make a post I have to type in the fricking word verification which I can barely read in the first place. I need a fricking spam script to deal with this shite. They better get rid of this very very very soon. I don’t have the patience to deal with it.

Update: It’s now gone. But, I am looking at other options. This week I came across WPLite but I’m not sure how you tweak your HTML or use FTP there. When I tried to reply to the email from them it bounced, they had used a modified email address. To avoid spam or avoid questions? Seems a bit odd. Anyway, it would be a great option if it works. I would like to have more creative control over the blog. Blogger is good but limited in some ways.
