When did you last write something by hand. I’d even count a grocery list because people just seem to use their phone for even that small thing now. I miss handwriting. I still send greeting cards with short notes. When I was younger I wrote long letters, on stationary, to my Grandmothers and their sisters. None of them are still around and these days my handwriting is not quite so elegant, or legible, but I do my best and send out cards to nephews and nieces around the holidays.… Read the rest

It’s beautiful, interesting, and explosive. This remote lake in Alberta is home to ‘ice bubbles’ – bubbles formed when methane gas freezes as its approaches the surface of the lake.
I found this reposted by a friend on Twitter. I think its a great idea, very cute, but quite the surprise for all the neighbours (for a day). Little aliens in the snow, with glowing eyes. The part of the game I most remember is watching all the parts of the machine work one after the other (like all those rows of dominoes people construct) to end up catching the mouse.… Read the rest
Everyday Princess would be a great, or at least interesting site to run. I starting thinking about poofy skirts and found Everyday Princess on Pinterest.
