Snow People Canoe in Canadian Winter

My sister had this posted to Facebook last year. Ontario, Canada in the winter. Posted it to social media but I know I will enjoy seeing it again myself.

Flake Appreciation Day - December 18th

This is the day before my birthday and I've never heard about it before (as far as I can remember). I really like snow and snowflakes. It's a nice discovery. :)

Upcycled Toilet Roll People Greeting Cards

Snowmen greeting cards created with marshmallows and candy. But, I'd have more fun making them as a toilet roll version. An upcycled version with things from the recycling bin. I'm going to start saving finished toilet paper rolls and other bits and pieces and see what I can come up with. Everyone needs a project.

Snowflake Watching

Snowflake watching is a real hobby. You need a magnifying glass and warm clothes. Bring your camera too and try to photograph the snowflakes. I think the challenge would be to be out on a day that is cold enough so your own breath isn't melting them as you try to focus in close enough to see their patterns.

Your World Through a Snowglobe

What if you could never go home again? How eerie would it feel to know everything was just as you left it, no great disaster, but you could never get there to sleep in your own bed, check email on your computer or just make a hot drink in your favourite cup. Like seeing your home through the glass of a snowglobe but never being able to get inside to live in that world again. What words would you use to describe that feeling?
