Why is there so little online content just for boys. I searched on Goggle and found clothes and clothes and clothes available to buy. Well, thats not my idea of Just for Boys!!
I know there are boys online. Where do they like to go, what do they like to see and how do they surf the net? Is there a secret club, no girls allowed?
I did find the Boy Scouts of America. I would guess boys like the game sites too. There are too many of those to list. Just type in online games in the Google web search and you will find plenty to start with. Most commercial sites like Lifesavers and McDonalds have good online games for kids, boys included.
What else do boys do online? So far, I don't know.
Is it ok to take expired vitamins? I never remember to take them everyday. I always end up with half a bottle to go a month past the expiry date. :) Found out more about vitamins but no answer to my questions. I still don't know if the old pills are worth taking. Not that they seem to be helping much, I've got a runny nose and two cold sores today. :(
The other night, dear, as I lay sleeping
I dreamed I held you in my arms
When I awoke, dear, I was mistaken
So I hung my head and cried
You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
You make me happy when skies are grey
You'll never know, dear, how much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away
I'll always love you and make you happy
If you will only say the same
But if you leave me to love another
You'll regret it all someday
You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
You make me happy when skies are grey
You'll never know, dear, how much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away
You told me once, dear, you really loved me
And no one else could come between.
But now you've left me and love another,
You have shattered all my dreams.
You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
You make me happy when skies are grey
You'll never know, dear, how much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away
As kids we lived in a small town, Kincardine, near Lake Superior. My Dad worked in Toronto and I hardly remember him being there at all. Mom and my brother and baby sister would drive back and forth from our country/farm house (run down wreck) to the town. The road went right alongside the lake. I can remember Mom singing You are My Sunshine as we drove along. :)
The ultimate Raggedy Ann site. I've bought the pattern and some fabric but I've yet to actually start making the dolls. I have mine up here by the desk. My Mom made her with grey hair. Even she wonders why she did that now. It was what she had around then, but grey?!! It does make her pretty unique among Raggedy Ann's. All the popular dolls have red hair of some shade.
I think Raggedy Ann is the US attempt at our Canadian Anne of Green Gables. Of course there is Pippi Longstocking too. I'm not sure if she isn't English though. Odd how all three of my favourite fictional characters are all red heads. I'm not, my hair is a lovely shade of brown, chestnut. My little sister is a redhead but she just isn't someone you could picture as the Anne/ Ann type. Though we did call her Orphan Annie when she was a kid. Her hair was out of control back then, just too darn curly. Cute though. :)
