Sunday Stealing Meme

My favorite age: The current age. As much as I like castles and drooling over weird and sexy space creatures I think I'm best to be right where I am.

My best friend(s): I don't keep friends very long.

My celebrity crush: Keanu Reeves, for his mind.

My defining characteristic: My neck, it saves me from having to carry my head around. (A Halloween moment).

My most evil moment: Evil?... Me? You must be dreaming.

My favorite food: really good ice cream.

My grossest injury: A nail through my foot.

My biggest hatred: People who think they are superior to the rest of the masses.

My most illegal activity: Shoplifting. It was a long time ago.

My need for justice: Only if Justice is really cute and brings me flowers.

My most knowledgeable field: I'm sure I could grow a field of mint. It's pretty easy.

My life’s goal: I'm just not that organized.

My mother’s influence: Constant and enduring.

My nerdiest point: In spite of everything I'm still optimistic.

My oldest memory: Sitting on a swing set by myself at school in Kincardine, Ontario. I think it would have been preschool age. It was another year or more before I found the co-ordination to make the swing go anywhere.

My perfect date: I've given up on that one. I'd settle for good conversation with a guy who isn't just a walking penis.

My unanswered question: Which one?

My random fact: I miss being 42 cause for one year I was the answer to life, the universe and everything.

My stupidest decision: Hard to pick just one. Yet I stand by even my lamest moments cause I was making the best decision I could at the time.

My favorite television show: Maybe Doctor Who these days. I used to love Gilmore Girls but it's off the air now.

My style of underwear: Cotton and pretty.

My favorite vegetable: Raw carrots.

My weakest trait: The feeling of powerlessness.

My X-men power: Invisibility and/ or shapeshifting. Time travel would be a nice side too.

My strongest yearning: Money and lots of it, enough to never have to worry about it again.

My moment of Zen: I don't have any of those. I'm just too wicked I guess.

Your Lake House

I'm watching The Lake House with Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves. If you were trapped two years in the past from someone you fell in love with (like a fluke situation in The Lake House) how would you communicate and what would you do that would show up in the future.

Keanu's character planted a tree at the building site where Sandra's future apartment was to be built. What a great romantic gesture. What could you come up with?

Very Wise Advice

It's interesting that advice is so often free. Doesn't that make it just about worth what it costs?

People are so often ready and quick with offering advice, but really it's all their opinions. Some of it may be very well meant, unselfish and even a good idea based on their past experiences. That doesn't mean it's going to be good for you.

I give advice, though I do try to just shut up and say nothing too. Giving advice is tricky. People might actually take it. The fools!

Most of my advice is good though. I've been told I'm very wise. Which is kind of spooky. If I'm considered wise that isn't saying much for the rest of you! Just thought I'd let you know. ;)

When Dragons Cough...

You're riding high on your dragon, skimming the clouds and scaring a few pedestrians by dropping down low out of the clear blue sky. It's a great day for flying!

Until your dragon gets a cough and you really wish you had worn your safety parachute today after all. Your dragon never really did catch on to that whole plan of scooping you up again if you fall off mid flight so you're just kind of falling through space now, nothing better to do.

What would you have had for breakfast this morning if you could have had anything you wanted and didn't care about fat, calories or how much mess it makes in the pan? It really does seem your last breakfast should have been something really spectacular, better than dry cereal or a sort of good muffin and coffee.
