Although its in Toronto, I guess it still covers Ontario. Likely there aren't many other groups or resources for Ontario.
The Toronto Entomologists' Association (TEA) welcomes everyone who is interested in the insects of Ontario. We are an association of mostly amateur entomologists. Although our meetings are held in Toronto, we extend far beyond that in our field trips, our membership, and our seasonal summaries. Come to our meetings, join us on our field trips, purchase our publications, apply for the research grant, join us! The TEA is a registered charity and a non-profit educational and scientific organization formed to promote interest in insects, to encourage co-operation among amateur and professional entomologists, to educate and inform non-entomologists about insects, entomology and related fields, to aid in the preservation of insects and their habitats and to issue publications in support of these objectives.
Marot Kidder was an actress and activist for environmental, political, and women's causes. She was born in Yellowknife, NWT, Canada, October, 17th, 1948. She had a sister, three brothers, one daughter, and at least two grandchildren. As an actress she may be most known as Lois Lane in Superman, with Christopher Reeves. The rest of her life was busy and made messy due to mental illness. But, she was involved with many things and had a respect for people who also had problems in their lives.
I never met her. I would have liked to, not because she became famous but because she seemed to think and feel as I do, maybe a kindred spirit. She was just a few years younger than my Mother, which surprised me. I had thought we were close in age. Time flies.

Has anyone ever died from swallowing pills?
How ironic, to be trying to save yourself with pills only to lose yourself with one stuck before it went down. It seems very discouraging for my possible future as a pill popper.
I managed to access my old NeoPets account. But, I couldn't get far before it wanted me to reset passwords and register for ZenDesk and this and that and... I had enough. I'm not going to start using it again really. It was just a bit of nostalgia. I played with my nephew when he was a very little boy. Now he is 30. Time flies. Funny, I do remember the pets I had, their names and colours. Not a lot else.
I found my old account because I've been looking at old blog/ online journal posts and I had the link in one of them. Looking at some of the old stuff is making me sad. I'm almost done though. Moving them from old stuff into here. For whatever reason.
