The stump busters are here. Working out in the backyard right now. Getting a birch tree chopped down from it’s mighty heights down to size zero. Taking out two or three stubby stumps left over from trees (much smaller) which we took out ourselves when we moved in here in August. It’s interesting to watch the stumpbusters as it says on their truck.… Read the rest
I’d like to be writing something for NaNoWriMo this year. I did try it one year. Got a late start but did well for a few days. Then more upheaval, literally. I moved again.

Trying to get out today for some photos. Time keeps getting taken away from me. My Mom wants me to go down to Newmarket plus I have errands to tackle and there is only so much daylight left now that I have the car available. Will be easier when I get my own… soon I hope!
I don’t know why it seems like such an effort to write anything the past couple of months. Maybe I’m confusing myself with a bear, thinking I’m going into hibernation. Whatever it is I’m not going to win any prizes for keeping my blog going.

Going to my nephew’s birthday party today. He is going to be 12. A big day for him. A noisy day for me.
It will be my last weekend (Saturday/ Sunday) off too. After this I have Tuesday and Wednesday as my weekend. Fine with me. But will be interesting when so many events are geared to standard weekends.… Read the rest
